Devyn can currently be seen as ‘Maya Loughren’ alongside Alix West Lefler and the award-winning cast, Jessica Chastain
and Eddie Redmayne in the Netflix film ‘The Good Nurse.’

Actress Devyn McDowell got her start at just 4 years old - performing in front of 3,400 people per night for the hit Broadway musical "Waitress" (first national equity tour), Devyn's career has since been full speed ahead. She has been blessed with numerous opportunities.
At 5 years-old, a huge opportunity! Devyn was carefully selected out of thousands around the world to star opposite award-winning actors Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard, Simon Helberg and work with critically acclaimed international director Leos Carax in the musical feature film, ‘Annette.’ This was Devyn's first time both traveling and filming overseas (Belgium & Germany). Annette was a hit! The film opened at the 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival - winning Best Soundtrack and Best Director. Devyn's live-action performance in the film has been reported by some as one of the best by a child actor, and she is one of, if not, the youngest actors ever to sing
a full length song on film.
Devyn went on to be the face of the Montefiore 2021 Holiday Campaign,"Caring Makes Magic", directed by the incredible DerekCianfrance.
She's worked alongside Ewan McGregor as his young daughter in, 'You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder.'
She is complemented and commended regularly by industry peers on her natural talent, work ethic, handling challenging roles, her big personality and her ability to quickly learn and adapt.
In her spare time, Devyn enjoys trying new foods (she loves sashimi...especially tuna, eel, and octopus), traveling to new places, swimming, golfing, board games and anything that is competitive or challenging. While she is passionate about acting,
Devyn is very empathetic about philanthropy and is always looking for ways to give. She has an Annual Birthday Fundraiser that has donated thousands of dollars to various nonprofits and children/pets in need.

Alix West Lefler
Award-Winning Canadian actress Alix West Lefler hails from beautiful Vancouver, B.C. This talented young actress discovered her love for performing, not in film or television but in extreme outdoor sports shows where she was featured as a log roller and an axe thrower at the age of 5. Yes - Axe Throwing! The acting bug bit Alix early! Her professional career took off at the age of 7 when Alix was cast in the stage play, 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever' earning Alix and her cast mates the 2019 Canadian Joey Award for the Best Ensemble Play. With her passion established, Alix went to work.
In 2021, Alix traveled to Connecticut for 3 months to film the Netflix thriller 'The Good Nurse' - Now Streaming on NETFLIX!

Alix West Lefler appears as 'Juniper' - a recurring role on episodes of CW's 'RIVERDALE' and is known for her recurring role as 'Hope' in the television series 'SIREN' for which she won a Joey Award for 'Best Actress' in a 'Recurring Television Role, 6-8 Years.'
Alix earned a second Joey Award that same year - this one for '2020's Most Promising Performer.'
