Sophia stars as 'Fox' on Canada's comedy series 'Son of a Critch'!
Sophia Powers is back with us on ConversationsRadio. She first joined us in early 2024 and has cohosted on the podcast too. This brilliant Canadian actress had designs on acting from an early age. At 8, she made it known that this was a path she wanted to take.
Sophia Powers is 'Fox' on CBC's 'Son of a Critch
Soon after, Sophia booked her first role as ‘Chloe’ on the short film ‘It’s A Beautiful Day’ followed by
a trailer for ‘The Magnificent Truffle Pigs’ – a live-action video game. Sophia was off and running.
At just 9, Sophia began acting classes and continued to hone her craft. Her training and passion served her well.
She’s riding a wave of success – currently starring as ‘Fox’ alongside Malcom McDowell, Mark Critch and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth on Season 4 of Canada's hit comedy 'Son of a Critch' - (coming in 2025) airing on CBC in Canada and The CW in the U.S.
Created by Mark Critch and Tim McAuliffe,The series is filmed on location in St. John's, New Foundland, Canada, a huge opportunity for Sophia.
Sophia can be seen in Hallmark movies - playing ‘Kira Allen’ ‘Fourth Down and Love’ and ‘Toni’ in ‘Unexpected Grace.’
During her downtime, Sophia stays busy with a multitude of interests. A lover of music,
she is teaching herself guitar. Her musical choices are eclectic. Some of her favorite bands are Boygenius, Fleetwood Mac, Pheobe Bridgers and Arctic Monkeys. She also loves
Daisy Jones and the Six, both the series and music. Her favorite sitcoms are The Office, (American version) How I Met your Mother, Modern Family,Life in Pieces and is obsessed with ‘The Last of Us’ – both the series and game. Sophia also enjoys listening to podcasts, ‘Morbid’ and ‘True Crime’ and enjoys boxing. Sophia is quite content spending time with her family and friends in BC and spoiling her puppy, Mazie aka Crazy Mazie!

Callie Walker
Nashville native and ConversationsRadio alumni Callie Walker is a Los Angeles-based actress and voiceover artist. She’s best known for her work on the hit web series “Dhar Mann.” sShe first joined us in August 2024 on Ep.183 and returned to cohost on Ep.185 featuring Mephis music duo Isabella & Sebastian.
Having grown up in Nashville, Tennessee, Callie was all about sports and academic life. She eventually discovered acting and the arts in the 11th grade when she chose to attend an Arts school with designs on a theatre major which changed her trajectory a bit.
While initially, Walker was not huge lover of theatre, she changed her major to Film Production learning the ropes of the Behind the Scenes side of making films. This is when she fell in love with acting. She landed in Southern California and is making her way as a working actress

At 20-year-old Callie is staying just as busy outside of Hollywood, working towards completing a pre-law Bachelor’s degree at Penn State.
