Joey Vieira

Great to have Joey Vieira back on ConversationsRadio to cohost episode 170! Joey is a Latino American actor who grew up in the small farming town of Livingston, California. He later moved to Los Angeles where he earned his bachelor's degree in theatre at California State University Northridge (CSUN), completed a Meisner Masters program and studied under Brian Reise before relocating with his family to Australia. After moving to Australia, he landed the role of Diego's Dad ‘Nico’ in the Paramount Pictures feature ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ as well as multiple episodes on "Texas Rising" and the hit ABC series "Reef Break" plus 'Wolfman' in Fortnite's ‘We Will be Monsters.’ Joey can also be seen as ‘Enrique’ in the film ‘Love in Bloom’ and stars as ‘Miguel’ opposite Chris Hemsworth in ‘Spiderhead.

Most recently, Joey stars as ‘Samson’ alongside Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice and Sophie MMonk in ‘Zombie Plane’

Joey Quote: “I've been at this for over 20 years and in this crazy industry, there are no guarantees. Most don't make it and I consider myself so lucky to have been able to take the opportunities I've been given. You've really got to push and keep going, but you also need support. It can't always be business; you have to have people that mean something to you both on and off set. Otherwise, it’s just another job. If it wasn't for the love and support from my family and friends I would not be where I am today. You can't be in this industry for fame and fortune; if that's why you're acting, you're going to be disappointed. Be in it because you love it and you can't imagine doing anything else.”
