We are absolutely thrilled to have actress and writer Maeve Press with us on ConversationsRadio. A native of New York, she currently splits her time between NY and LA. Maeve fell in love with the arts early on - perhaps by osmosis. Maeve’s parents, C. Fraser Press and Darren Press are award-winning filmmakers who have produced some amazing films.

Maeve and her sisters, Schuyler and Amaya, have worked together on a number of these wonderful projects. Maeve starred as ‘Tuesday McDermott’ in the Award-Winning indie film ‘Theresa Is a Mother.’ She also co-wrote and stars as ‘Nora’ in the indie film ‘Too Many Buddhas’ – coming to film festivals soon.
Maeve has appeared Off-Broadway in the critically acclaimed ‘Before Your Very Eyes’ written by
the Gob Squad and has performed in numerous theatre festivals and readings.

At 17, Maeve has wisdom beyond her years which is probably why she comes across as real and confident. Discovering that being laughed at was fun and cool is the genesis of her interest in comedy. Maeve Press is blazing a trail as a standup comedian. Her comedy stylings are partially influenced by George Carlin,
Tig Notaro among other comedy legends. However, Maeve’s material is original and inspired by the humor found in life experiences and random discoveries. Maeve Press feels at home on-stage and has performed standup sets at bars, comedy clubs and festivals everywhere. At 14, She was the youngest comic ever to perform standup at Boston's‘Women in Comedy Festival’ and has played other festivals including Hoboken and the Burbank Comedy Festival.
